I received a message from Victoria Pardue-Edwards, member of the Mid-North Public Safety Committee, regarding a break-in near the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood. Information is below:

Our neighbors  in the 4300 block of Broadway were robbed at gunpoint on the steps of their front door as they entered their home on Sunday evening 11:30 pm June 28th.  four young males descended upon them on BMX type bikes.  One threatened them with a gun.  Cell phones and wallets were taken but no one was injured.  Police arrived in approximately 10 minutes.

As always, be aware of anything strange in your neighborhood and call the police, even if it’s just to make them aware of what you saw.
