Independents Week is a celebration of locally owned businesses. Join the celebration by only shopping local this week.

1. Shop exclusively local. Do all your normal weekly shopping at locally owned stores.  Find them in the Midtown Loves Local online directory <http://www.midtownloveslocal.org> .  If we missed your favorite local business, please send us their information!

2. Pick up an orange Midtown map to locate locally owned shops and restaurants and look for the bright orange Midtown Loves Local stickers.

3. Buy only locally grown produce. Farmer’s Markets are set up in Midtown every week.  Saturday 8am to noon behind Broad Ripple High School and Thursday 4pm to 6:30pm at United Methodist Church, 38th and Meridian Street.

This week proclaim to your family and friends that you are a local lover and ask them to join you!
