Public, Private and Nonprofit Sectors Join to Invest Over $5.4 Million in the Area of 38th and Illinois Streets

INDIANAPOLIS – City officials, leaders from Indy’s nonprofit community, and business owners from the Midtown neighborhood will come together on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 to highlight more than $5 million in public private partnership investment in the Midtown neighborhood. The City’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will break ground on renovations to Tarkington Park and the City’s Department of Metropolitan Development (DMD) and Mapleton-Fall Creek Development Corporation will recognize businesses participating in the neighborhood’s small business facade improvement program.
