Please join us for our April meeting on Monday, April 10th, at the MLK Community Center, located at 40th and Illinois Street, at 6:30 p.m.  At our meeting, we will hear about a new high school opening this fall, Riverside High School, at the old Naval Armory.  Also, our Mayor’s Neighborhood Advocate, Joel Smith, will be holding a listening session designed to identify the things people love about their neighborhoods as well as the types of places, uses, and amenities that are desired in different types of neighborhoods and other districts.  This input will help inform city planners as they rework the City’s comprehensive plan.  It is a way for communities to give their input.

Joel will posit three questions that he would like neighborhood feedback on:

1. What do you like about your neighborhood?

2. What’s missing in your neighborhood?

3. What’s the one thing you would add to your neighborhood that would make you the most happy?

Please consider attending next Monday’s meeting and come prepared to give feedback on these questions.
