The Indianapolis Public Library is now offering parents and caregivers a variety of resources to guide them in helping children cope in the wake of the recent Newtown, Connecticut tragedy.

The Library has created a special web page, “Helping Children Cope With Violence and Tragic Events,” which provides links to professional associations and media resources that offer advice on talking to children and reassuring them about their safety.

“Helping Children Cope With Violence and Tragic Events” can be accessed from the callout section of the Library’s homepage at www.indypl.org.
