Summer Stock Stage’s 2012 Summer Season: Peter Pan and A Chorus Line

Peter PanWith just a sprinkling of pixie dust, share a date at the theatre with your child!  Summer Stock Stage opens its 9th season with Peter Pan, the classic tale of a magical boy who won’t grow up.  Peter Pan opens Thursday, June 27 at 7pm and runs through Saturday, June 30.  An afternoon matinee is also scheduled for Sunday, July 1 at 2 pm.  See talented and inspiring students from over 30 Central Indiana schools perform in one of the best local shows of the summer!

A Chorus LineThis Tony Award-Winning musical follows the lives of 17 young dancers at an audition and the sacrifices they make in order to pursue their passion.  A Chorus Line opens Friday, July 27 at 7 pm with additional performances July 28 and July 29 at 8 pm.  An afternoon matinee is also scheduled for Sunday, July 30 at 2 pm.

Tickets – Tickets can be purchased by emailing or visiting us during Box Office hours Mondays and Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Tickets are also available on the day of the performance beginning at 5 pm at the box office.  Shows do sell out so be sure to get your tickets right away!  All shows are in Ayres Auditorium on the campus of Park Tudor School. About Summer Stock Stage – Summer Stock Stage is a premiere educational theatre group  founded in 2004 to provide Central Indiana high school students with an extraordinary theater performing arts experience.  Founded by Emily Ristine Holloway, Jeanne Bowling and Kelly Butler Smith, the artistic team now includes Kyle Ragsdale, award winning painter and curator of the Harrison Center for the Arts, Mariel Greenlee, Dance Kaleidoscope company member, Cherri Jaffee, former Artistic Director of Dance Kaleidoscope, and Mike Moffatt, Theater Department Chair, Cathedral High School.  While pursuing their own careers as artists, these adults mentor and collaborate with the student artists in two major musical productions.  Park Tudor School has generously donated the use of their beautiful facilities in their common vision for enriching the lives of students through the arts.
