The BTNA Board would like to bring the following to your attention:
—This Saturday is the Monumental Marathon. As you can see from this map-Monumental Marathon map-the route proceeds through our neighborhood during the hours from 9:10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Runners will enter Butler Tarkington from Meridian Street to 46th Street, come down Illinois, turn at Hampton, continue onto Haughey, and then follow 42nd Street to the IMA.
–Butler University is holding a series of open house discussions regarding plans to place new BlueIndy stations on Butler’s campus. These sites are located on Clarendon outside of the Pharmacy Building, in the parking lot at Schrott, and in the parking lot of the HRC/Hinkle Fieldhouse. These open houses are set for 7:30-8:30 a.m. on November 7th; 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on November 9th; and 4:30-6 p.m. on November 14th, at the Atherton Union (704 W. Hampton) Room 201. —Crossroads Cafe / AIM Mentoring, located at 42nd and Boulevard Streets, is running its annual pie fundraiser! Their delicious pies are baked fresh at Crossroads Café and include: Pumpkin, Apple, Sweet Potato, Chocolate Lover’s and Pecan. All proceeds benefit AIM’s Youth Mentoring and Job Training Programs. Pies will be scheduled for pickup during the week of November 21st. See THIS FLYER for more information.
