Join us the 3rd annual 5k run & walk through the Butler Tarkington neighborhood!
Whether you are looking to kick off 2020 with your first 5k race or just get out for a fun run or walk, we look forward to seeing you at the starting line at the MLK Center on Saturday, January 18!
The Dream Run raises funds for our BTNA Community Grant which supports the non-profit organizations and schools that support our Butler-Tarkington neighbors.

Friday, January 17 4:30 – 6:30 PM | Packet Pickup at the MLK Center
Saturday, January 18 8:00 – 9:15 AM | Packet Pickup 9:30 AM | Race Begins
The start & finish will be on 40th St. The clockwise course will head west and then loop north through Butler University before circling over to Illinois Street where runners will enjoy a downhill run straight into the finish.
We are eager to see The Dream Run 5k (walkers welcome!) become a leading winter event and we hope you will join in the fun!
A backup course is prepared in case of poor weather.
Registration Costs
$25 – Individual Participant through Sunday, January 5th at Midnight
$30 – Individual Participant through Thursday, January 16th at Midnight
$40 – Individual Participant on Race Day
Participants will receive a long-sleeve event t-shirt.
